Ojos Del Mar is the result of combining two high quality approaches to optometry into one comprehensive eye care experience. Renowned for her expertise in dry eye and specialty contact lenses, Co-Owner, Dr. Roya Habibi, spent the last 10 years developing a comprehensive training program for Optometrists based on one thing and one thing only; providing the very best eye care experience possible. Our clinics are staffed by highly skilled and licensed Costa Rican optometrists who are personally trained by Dr. Habibi, resulting in the ultimate patient care experience.
Dr. Roya Habibi

As the owner of Ojos Del Mar, Dr. Habibi oversees all clinical operations and created Ojos Del Mar's in-house Fellowship Training program that supports our licensed Costa Rican Optometrsists' with invaluable training to pursue their dreams. She earned her doctorate from UC Berkeley and fellowship training at Oregon Health and Sciences University. She has lectured around the world on various topics including dry eye disease and advanced contact lens fitting and is the co-host of TryNot2Blink, the world’s largest Optometry podcast, with thousands of active doctors learning from her every week. For years, Dr. Habibib has and continues to be a globablly reconized authority on speciality contact lens fitting and Keratoconus, and most was voted Seattle's Top Doctor, by a vote of her peers, back to back in 2020 and 2021.
Dr. Habibi combines modern science and research-based holistic treatments to help her patients achieve improved vision and find lasting comfort. Dr Fabiola Hernandez

Dr. Fabiola joined Ojos Del Mar as our lead Optometrist and the first Fellow in our esteemed Advanced Fellowship Program. This Fellowship program is uniquely designed to enhance the skills of optometrists seeking advanced subspecialty knowledge to provide care to patients with an emphasis on advanced dry eye and medically necessary contact lenses. Dr. Fabiola was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and completed her schooling at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica where she earned a licensure in optometry and contact lenses. She prioritizes lifelong learning in order to ensure she is always providing the best care to all her patients. Dr. Fabiola’s calm, kind demeanor adds the local charm to complete the Ojos Del Mar experience.
